Thanks to BetMGM VA, if the Washington Football Team scores in its NFL Week 7 game with the Green Bay Packers, you can score too.

Washington (2-4) has its work cut out for it when it meets surging Green Bay (5-1), which has won five straight.

In fact, the WFT is a pretty substantial underdog in the Sunday, Oct. 24 matchup (1 p.m., Fox).

But, do you think Washington can score at least one touchdown? If so, you can bet $10 and win $200 with this Virginia sports betting promo.

Bet $10, win $200 at BetMGM VA

The BetMGM VA offer is for new users only. (If you’re an existing customer, you still have a steady stream of promos and bonuses to choose from.)

If you’ve yet to deposit and play at BetMGM VA, though, you’re eligible for this NFL Week 7 bonus.

Simply place a single $10 pre-game, moneyline wager on any team, including the WFT, this weekend. If your team then scores a touchdown in the game, you get a $200 bonus paid in the form of bonus bets on the site.

They will come as two $100 bonus bets, and they must be used within seven days.

The bet $10, win $200 offer would replace the usual new-user sign-up offer at BetMGM VA.

Can WFT score a touchdown against GB?

Let’s say you want to bet on the WFT for this BetMGM VA promo offer. (Don’t forget, though: You can choose from any Week 7 matchup.)

As of Friday afternoon, Washington was an 8-point underdog to the Packers. And the total for the game was 48.5.

With that point spread and total, we get an implied final score of approximately 28-20 in favor of the Packers.

In other words, Washington is expected to lose, but the team is clearly expected to put some points on the board. And with the BetMGM Virginia promo, your offer of “bet $10, win $200” will be successful even if the WFT loses. After all, you’d need them to score just a single touchdown in the game.

So, what are the chances that Washington actually scores a touchdown? Sure, we’ve seen some subpar WFT squads in recent years, and they haven’t won a playoff game since 2015. But it’d take a pretty epic scoring drought for you to come up short of the $200 winnings.

Epic, but not unseen.

After all, the WFT has scored a touchdown in every 2020 and 2021 game. However, during the brutal 2019 season in which Washington posted a 3-13 record, the team went three straight games without scoring a TD.

In the 29 games since then, though, the WFT has found the endzone at least once.

With line movement, bet on Washington now?

If you take part in this week’s BetMGM VA promo, you can obviously win $200 if your team scores a touchdown. But don’t forget about that initial $10 moneyline bet.

You want to win that one too, right?

Well, if you planned to bet on WFT this week, you’re already a bit late to the party. You can get the WFT at +350 odds, as of Friday afternoon. That means that if you bet $10 and Washington wins outright, you’d net $35 in winnings.

However, if you had placed a bet earlier this week, you could’ve gotten a better line. Washington opened at +250 on the moneyline, but at one point in the week after some serious line movement, the odds had swelled to nearly +500 (and the spread was briefly available at +10 instead of +8) at some Virginia online sportsbooks.

Still, at +350 odds, there’s still some pretty handsome payoff potential. But even if Washington comes up short and you lose that $10 bet, you still get $200 in bonus bets if Washington can score a single TD on Sunday. That’s not a bad consolation.
