‘Tis the season to possibly win some extra cash with the Virginia Lottery‘s new lineup of 2021 holiday scratchers.
The VA Lottery released a new series of holiday scratchers with prizes of up to $500,000.
These scratchers add to the lottery’s collection of more than 80 scratch-offs available at more than 5,000 retailers within the lottery’s network.
The new scratchers are:
- Winfall
- Winter Winnings
- Holiday Cheer
- Holly Dough
2021 holiday scratchers include Winfall
The Winfall holiday scratcher is a $10 game with the top prize of $500,000.
To win, match any of your numbers to any of the winning numbers listed on the scratcher. Prizes range from $20 to $500,000.
There are three ways to earn some extra cash in Winfall:
- Reveal a moneybag to win the prize shown.
- Unveil a Winfall symbol to win all 20 prizes instantly.
- Reveal a money stack in any of the cash spots to win the prize shown for that cash spot.
The odds of winning any prize are 1 in 6.45, and the odds of winning the $500,000 top prize are 1 in 1,550,400. At the time of publishing, all three $500,000 tickets remained in circulation.
Winter Winnings
Winter Winnings is a $5 game with a top prize of $500. Each ticket provides 18 chances to win.
There are three ways to win this 2021 holiday scratcher:
- Match any of your numbers to any of the holiday numbers to win the prize shown.
- Reveal a 2X to win 2x the prize shown or reveal a 5X to win 5 times the prize shown.
This holiday scratcher comes with a holiday bonus chance. Reveal a candy cane to win $10, reveal a gingerbread man to win $20 and reveal an ornament to win $50.
The chances of winning any prize are 1 in 3.8, and the chances of winning the top prize are 1 in 4,896. At the time of publishing, 662 of the $500 tickets remained in circulation.
Holiday Cheer
With 15 chances to win, this $2 holiday scratcher holds a grand prize of $20,000.
Match any of your numbers to either of the holiday numbers to win the prize shown. Prizes vary from $2 to $20,000.
Like Winter Winnings, this scratcher offers a bonus chance. If a tree appears you can win $25 instantly.
The chances of winning any prize are 1 in 4.51, and the chances of winning the top prize are 1 in 1,305,600. At the time of publishing, all three top prize tickets remained.
Holly Dough
Rounding out the quad collection of Virginia Lottery’s 2021 holiday scratchers series is Holly Dough.
This $1 scratcher holds a grand prize of $1,000.
Reveal three identical amounts to win that amount.
If luck isn’t in your favor, Holly Dough offers an extra chance to win some cash. If you reveal a snowflake, you can win the prize shown.
The chances of winning any prize are 1 in 4.64, and the chances of winning the top prize are 1 in 2,040,000. At the time of publishing, all three $1,000 tickets remained in circulation.
