RSI wins best gambling operator award and others

The EGR Awards are prestigious in the gaming industry. It’s the equivalent of a musician winning a Grammy or an actor winning an Academy Award. EGR consults with a panel of judges who are e-gaming experts to decide which gaming companies deserve to leave the event with some hardware.

The operator who earned the distinctions is Rush Street Interactive (RSI). RSI is the parent company for BetRivers sportsbook, which launched as a Virginia sports betting operator in January 2021.

Rush Gaming also operates Rivers Portsmouth Casino Resort which is aiming to open its Southeastern Virginia location in February 2023.

Outside the Old Dominion, RSI is active in 12 other states and recently launched in Canada.

3 EGR awards presented to Rush Street Interactive

Operator of the Year

The Operator of the Year honors was awarded to Rush for its exponential growth last year.

RSI had terrific player retention, differentiation and originality in its product. Consistently growing its revenue, excellent betting content and a satisfying experience for customers using Rush’s self-developed online betting platform were also factors that lead judges to select RSI in this category.

Customer Service Operator of the Year

Rush won the award every year since EGR began giving it out.

Making bettors feel heard and valued is hard considering the number of customers RSI served in 2021. But Rush’s ability to do so is what sets them apart from its competitors.

The judges also considered RSI’s collaborative culture when presenting them with this award. This culture comes from Rush’s constant training and development of all employees.

Social Gaming Operator of the Year

This honor goes to gaming operators who saw constant upticks in engagement, leading to more bettors visiting land-based casinos. RSI’s ability to continue growing in revenue was indicative they’re succeeding in this space.

Once bettors are in Rush-operated casinos, they can choose from a wide array of gaming content and social gaming software. RSI does everything right, starting with attracting people to its casinos and then having guests return because of the A+ experience they had.

RSI won the same three awards at EGR’s 2021 event. Rush CEO Richard Schwartz had this to say about the continued recognition his company received:

“It is an honor and especially meaningful for RSI to be recognized by the gaming industry’s top leaders for our passion to develop innovative and intuitive betting experiences and for always prioritizing earning and retaining our players’ trust.

It’s especially rewarding that EGR recognizes that RSI continues to enhance our customer offerings to provide a best-in-class user experience in both social and real-money gaming. The customer service of the year award has only been awarded three times and RSI has won each time, reflecting our dedication to engaging and retaining players.”

“These crowning achievements are a tribute to RSI’s talented team. Their passion and collaborative spirit, to constantly improve the quality of our real money and social gaming products and customer service, is what leads to such honors.”
