At FanDuel, here’s how they explain what a “First TD Scorer” bet is:
The winner is the player who carries or receives the ball in the endzone for the first TD of the game (not the QB who passes the ball). If no touchdown is scored, the winning bet is “No touchdown scorer”.
In other words, you’re picking the running back, receiver, tight end or other player who will score the first TD of the game. Here are the options with the shortest odds from FanDuel:

- Deebo Samuel: +700
- Elijah Mitchell: +900
- Brandon Aiyuk: +1100
- George Kittle: +1100
- Van Jefferson: +1100

First Touchdown Scorer promos in Virginia
VA sportsbooks have a variety of promos geared toward Monday Night Football and the LA vs. SF game. In fact, some of these are regular weekly promotions.
Oftentimes, the First TD Scorer bets are featured. Why? Well, it’s pretty obvious when you think about. If you place on which player you think will score the first TD, you’re likely to be an engaged viewer (and bettor) from the coin-toss forward. And since you’ll know if your First TD prop bet is a winner or loser pretty early in the game, you’re likely to stick around to place another bet.

For example, if you bet $25 on SF wide receiver and return specialist Brandon Aiyuk, you’ll get $5 per touchdown that the 49ers score – even if Aiyuk isn’t the first scorer and even if the 49ers lose.
So, if you bet $25 on Aiyuk and San Francisco scores six touchdowns, you’ll score a $30 bonus. In other words, you’d actually come out $5 ahead even if you lose the initial bet on Aiyuk.

Bet up to $25 on a First Touchdown Scorer prop bet, and win or lose, you get an equal amount to use as a bonus bet on the game’s live betting market.
This Caesars promo is unique to Week 10. However, the good news is that Caesars offers a wide range of betting promos (arguably the best ones in Virginia, if we’re being honest) every week. So look for other MNF betting promos in future weeks.
BetMGM: Bonus Bet on First TD Scorer promo
BetMGM VA also has a promo: Make a Bonus Bet on the First TD Scorer.
Simply place your prop bet on who scores the first TD, and you’ll receive a match (up to $25) in bonus bets if your wager loses.
