Lots of 20% boosts at DraftKings
If you’re the type of bettor who likes to have a little action on a whole lot of games, DraftKings VA has a killer NFL Week 1 special.
DK is offering a 20% profit boost for all 13 Sunday-afternoon NFL games. Those are the ones that start at both 1 and 4 p.m. (not Sunday Night Football, though). Use it on the point spread, the total, or the moneyline.
The only major stipulation is that the max bet for the profit boosts is $50.
Caesars: Profit boost with a possible bonus
Caesars also has a can’t-miss boost. Sure, it’s for only one game instead 13, but it’s got a nice catch.
With the “Total Pointage” promo, which runs Friday-Sunday, you get a 50% profit boost token to use on any NFL Week 1 bet of $50.
Nice, right? But there’s more.
On top of that, if your team wins, you’ll receive a bonus bet equal to the total points scored by both teams.
Say you place a $50 bet on the WFT (-1) for Sunday’s game at -110 odds, and they beat the Chargers 31-20. Not only will you nab $45.45 in regular winnings, you’ll get another $51 as a bonus because of the final score.
Take the risk out of NFL Week 1 betting
It’s not often you can place a bet with little to no downside. But bonus bets do just that.
Essentially, with these special wagering opportunities, you get your money back (usually in the form of a bonus bet) if your initial wager loses.
DraftKings has been promoting its new same-game parlay options in recent weeks. Now, they’ve made them a can’t-lose proposition for this weekend’s NFL games: Every customer gets a $25 same-game parlay site credit. If you lose, you get your stake back with a bonus bet of the same value.
BetMGM VA also has an offer for a bonus bet, but it works a little differently and taps into prop betting. Wager on a player to score the first touchdown of your chosen game, and if you lose, you’ll receive up to $25 in bonus bets to make you whole.
No fuss, no mess: bonus bets!
Want a straightforward offer? If so, be sure to log into your BetMGM account. BetMGM is offering all players two bonus bets – $10 each – to use on NFL games this weekend.
Players received their first one prior to Thursday Night Football. The second one is now available and ready to use for Sunday’s games. Simply log into your account to make sure it triggers the awarding of the bonus bet.
Unibet VA is also offering some bonus bets, but they come with a catch. With the “Bet Bundle Blitz” promotion, you need to wager at least $200 on football (both the NFL and NCAA college football are eligible).
If you wager $200, you’ll receive a $10 bonus bet each week for the next four weeks. But if you bet $1,000 total, you’ll get $50 bonus bets for the next four weeks. That works out to a 20% bonus on your bets.
This promo is obviously geared toward active bettors. But if you’re betting the games anyway, you might as well score some extra bets.
Tripling an NFL Week 1 point spread
WynnBET VA also has an offer for pigskin enthusiasts this weekend.
The VA sportsbook has a “Triple the Spread” promotion for Sunday’s game (4:25 p.m.) between the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints.
Rather than getting the initial spread of the Saints +4.5, WynnBET has tripled it to +13.5. That bump will certainly improve your chances of winning.
